The Three-Body Problem

Unlike the two-body problem, the three-body problem has no general closed-form solution. The motion is often chaotic — tiny changes in initial conditions lead to wildly different outcomes. However, some special stable configurations exist, like the famous Figure-8 orbit.

Units: Mass is measured in solar masses (M☉), where 1 M☉ = the mass of our Sun (≈ 2 × 10³⁰ kg).
